Interfaith Library Calls for Unity and Peace in the Wake of Violence

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

July 14, 2024

The Interfaith Library stands together today to express our deep sorrow and unequivocal condemnation of the violent act perpetrated against former President Donald Trump and the innocent bystanders who were affected. Such acts of violence are in direct opposition to the love and compassion that God has for all humanity, and they have no place in our society.

While Interfaith Library remains steadfast in its non-political stance, we believe it is our moral obligation to speak out against violence and advocate for peace and understanding. Violence should never be considered a viable solution to resolve our differences.

In these trying times, it is imperative that we come together with dignity and respect, rallying around the foundational principles of unalienable rights that are enshrined in the United States Declaration of Independence: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. These rights are bestowed upon all humans by their Creator and must be upheld with unwavering commitment.

We urge everyone to join us in prayer for forgiveness, reconciliation, and the healing of our nation. Let us work together to build bridges of understanding and foster a community grounded in peace and mutual respect.

We call upon all individuals to stand down from acts of violence and remain united in solidarity. May peace and blessings be upon you all, and may God shower the world and all of humanity with His blessings.

In solidarity and peace,
