Interfaith Library’s extended family” consist of Facebook groups of individuals from diverse religious and spiritual backgrounds who came together to create multi-faith communities with one common goal; (peace, love & understanding). Like Interfaith Library, their mission is to promote interfaith understanding, dialogue, and cooperation. This sometimes involve the collection of religious ideas, scholarly works on various faith traditions, and resources for interfaith education and dialogue.

The decision to form such groups are driven by desires to foster understanding and respect among individuals from different religious traditions, as well as to promote friendships and peaceful coexistence. The core values of Interfaith Library’s family align with those of the Interfaith Library organization because they all try to call for unity through education. Such educational initiatives includes:

1. Embracing and celebrating the diverse religious and spiritual traditions represented within the community and recognizing the value of pluralism.

2. Encouraging open and respectful dialogue among individuals from different faith traditions, with the goal of deepening mutual understanding and building bridges of cooperation.

3. Providing educational resources and programming that promote awareness of different faith traditions and foster interfaith literacy.

4. Working together to address issues of social justice, peace-building, and humanitarian efforts from an interfaith perspective.
